Anca Marinescu earned a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture with Honors from Tri-State College of Acupuncture with three years of extensive hands-on training in several acupuncture styles. After interning at the International Acupuncture Training Institute in Beijing, China, she then completed additional studies in Chinese Herbal Medicine, converting her degree to a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. She is Licensed in PA & NY and nationally Board-Certified by (NCCAOM).
Anca was proud to be chosen for the first in-patient Acupuncture Fellowship in the U.S. at New York’s St. Vincent’s Hospital where she worked for a year in the Physical Medicine and Rehab Department. She joined the faculty of Tri-State College of Acupuncture as a Clinical Supervisor and is also Acupuncture Supervisor at Daytop Village – a substance abuse treatment facility.
In private practice since 2005, Anca has a passion for integrating both ancient and modern philosophies of health. She is committed to providing personalized, effective care with a focus on acute and chronic pain, digestive complaints and general well-being.
